The Jefferson Park Farm & Flea, a hybrid farmers market and flea market hosts its second market of the year this Saturday, July 21 in the historic Jefferson Park business district. The JPFF market series — presented by the Horseshoe Market — is a fresh take on neighborhood farmers markets and flea markets.
The idea is to create an urban marketplace dedicated to bringing the community the best food, handmade items, vintage finds, quality produce and urban homesteading goods and information. Here are some market highlights:
* 60+ local vendors including handmade and vintage goods for your home and garden, plants, pottery and furniture.
* Local honey, bee keeping education, urban gardening education and chickens and baby goats onsite.
* Jams, jellies, baked goods, local grass fed beef, mustard and gourmet salts, coffee and juices.
* Food trucks, mobile boutiques, kids activities, live music, face painting and henna tattoos.
The markets are free and open to the public and run from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. on 25th Avenue between Federal Boulevard and Eliot Street. 2500 Federal Blvd., Denver.
