Put your imagination in gear and go. It’s time for Touch-a-Truck, where kids get a chance to get behind the wheel and rub elbows with their hometown heroes on Saturday, July 20 from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Cherry Hills Community Church in Highlands Ranch. During the FREE event, children are invited to climb on and explore their favorite vehicles including big rigs, fire engines, police cars, construction trucks, a zamboni and much more.
We counted several dozen vehicles on the list, so if one truck is crowded, likely another will be less so. (For those young and old with sensitive ears, there’s a “horn-free” hour from 9 a.m. to 10 a.m.)
Activities such as bounce houses and games are available for an extra fee.
And no one will go hungry with plenty of food trucks on hand selling their fare. 3900 E. Grace Blvd., Highlands Ranch.
