Join the Museum of Outdoor Arts at Marjorie Park for the La Primavera Festival on Saturday, April 26, 2025, from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. This family-friendly festival is inspired in part by the Gaelic Beltane celebration and European May Day, celebrating spring and summer to come. The event includes a pancake brunch, live music by Tin Brother Quartet, Maypole folk dance, craft stations such as flower crown making and face painting, yard games, an art themed scavenger hunt with prizes, and an adult beverages bar.
This event will also be the public premiere of our latest temporary art installation within our “Cabinet of Curiosities and Impossibilities” by artist, Jayne Harnett-Hargrove.
The artist’s installation of several bricolage objects is titled “Monsters at Play” and tells the story of “playthings” that legendary monsters would have played with as children.
Tickets include the brunch, all entertainment and activities.
