As of June 1, 2024, retail stores in Denver are no longer able to offer plastic carryout bags to customers at checkout. A great way to get rid of single-use plastic bags is to swap them for a FREE reusable bag. Plastic Bag Swaps are scheduled throughout this summer at various locations. All plastic bags collected at these events will be sent to Trex, a national plastic bag recycling company, and given new life as outdoor furniture.

Corn Maze 2024 at Denver Botanic Gardens Chatfield Farms
One favorite local attraction is the Corn Maze at Chatfield Farms. Wind your way through seven acres of corn. This year’s maze features a Colorado wild life theme full of fun twists and tricky turns.
