Paid content. Do you like dining at restaurants? How would you like to get paid to eat? This is no scam. Food & Drink Resources (FDR) Research & Innovation Center opened its Denver focus group facility in 2014. Now they’ve created the FDR Research & Innovation Center, a fully-equipped space where food, beverage and restaurant clients can test new concepts, recipes and products.
The company hosts focus groups and taste tests regularly and is looking for locals who love to eat and share their thoughts. FDR is now also doing some studies for non-food clients — not a ton but some, so even if you aren’t a foodie this could be a fun gig.
Consumer research projects pay pretty well — between $30 and $250 depending on the type of study and time commitment. It’s FREE to sign up.
If you’ve never been part of a focus group, there’s no need to be nervous. Here’s some information on what to expect and how things work. Focus groups are relaxed and fun. They truly want your thoughts and opinions.
After you’ve completed the focus group, typically you get paid by cash or VISA gift card before you leave. In rare cases, they mail you a check.
To get started, you can sign up for a focus group here. After signing up, FDR will be in touch soon to inquire about your food and dining preferences and your availability for participating.
Just so you know, the facility is located in Centennial, just off of Arapahoe Rd. and Havana St. There’s plenty of free parking and it is close to several bus stops.
