Kids love hands-on fun and what’s more fun than building something yourself using real tools under the watchful eye of a pro. Lowe’s is relaunching its FREE Kids Workshops as part of its DIY-U by Lowe’s program. The in-person workshops help children ages 5 to 12 learn DIY skills and techniques that instill confidence. The next workshop is Saturday, May 7 from 9 a.m. to noon.
Kids will make a wooden bird feeder. Whether it lands hanging outside of your window, or packaged up for mom for Mother’s Day, this Bird Feeder will make all the little birdies feel loved. All materials are provided.
You can register for your spot at the May workshop here. Spots will fill fast, so sign up soon.
For some reason the website has you create an account to “register for this contest,” but we think that’s a goof as there is no contest. Just create and account and register for the workshop.
If there are no spots at your closest store (do be sure to try locations), you can opt for the 12 p.m. to 8 p.m. time slot to stop by your store and pick up a kit from Customer Service to enjoy crafting at home.
