Lyons Holiday Parade of Lights Includes Fireworks Show

Little Lyons is so compact that it is easy to stroll from one venue to another. The town holds its annual holiday celebration Lyons Holiday Parade of Lights on Saturday, December 4. The parade will start at 6:30 p.m., filled with illuminated, colorful floats, many of which will be decorated in this year’s theme — “Winter Around The World.” It routes down Main St. and back along Broadway, so there are plenty of prime viewing spots.

Live music and entertainment follow at 7:15 p.m. in Sandstone Park (parallel to and just south of U.S. 36). Among those performing this year will be the Lyons High School and Elementary School Show Choirs.

Around 7:40 p.m., fireworks light up the sky.
