Mardi Gras is famous for elaborate parades with incredible floats — that’s why Dairy Block is throwing LoDo’s Petite Parade on Sunday, February 18, 2024. “Petite” is key here, as in small. Parade floats are teeny-tiny, built off shoe boxes or similar and can be dragged, pulled, or motorized. We’re told a skateboard makes a good base. The family-friendly parade will run from noon to 2 p.m. inside The Maven’s Windsor Room.
Festive entertainment will be provided by Denver’s Handsome Little Devils, including live music, dancing, and Mardi Gras galore.
Expect fantastic prizes awarded to participating floats.
You can be part of the action by signing up and building your own creative float starting with a shoe box base.
Fantastic Dairy Block prizes will be awarded for Most Original Float, Best Team Theme, Best Family Float, Funniest Float and more.
Even if you don’t enter a float, this is a fun way to spend the afternoon, cheering on your favorite floats and lapping up the good times.
Individuals, families and businesses can enter the parade for FREE. You can do so here.
