It may be a holiday weekend, but bargain hunters never take a break from saving money. Just about every retailer is having a Memorial Day Sale of some kind — usually on big-ticket items, like mattresses, furniture and appliances. Be sure you’re getting the best price. However, there are also a few deals on “small-ticket” items (mostly food!) to keep your budget in check.
