Got a case of cabin fever? Longing for an escape? Now’s the time to plan that perfect getaway without spending a bundle. Laura is headed to Broomfield to show you how to take a vacation “on the cheap.” Why Don’t I Know How To Do That: Travel To Fit A Budget is a FREE workshop at the Mamie Doud Eisenhower Library in Broomfield on Saturday, March 9 from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m.
In this fast-moving and interactive workshop, you’ll learn how to find the best deals on airline tickets, lodging, cruises, attractions, vacation packages and more. Take home a suitcase-full of practical tips on using travel websites, packing, surviving a long flight, renting a car, locating the cheapest gas and eating healthy on the road.
Find out how to get the same deals locals do, no matter the destination. As always, in true Mile High On The Cheap style, there will be a door prize. Registration is not required and walk-ins are welcome. 3 Community Park Rd., Broomfield.
Will Laura be coming up to Loveland or Fort Collins to present this seminar? 😎
Vickie – Right now I am not scheduled to give any workshops in Loveland or Fort Collins. Typically a library or other organization asks me to present. I’ve spoken at the Loveland Library several times. – Laura
I wish this was a video we could watch at any time. I don’t live near Broomfield and wouldn’t be able to attend anyway with my loud 22 month old but I’d love to hear this information.
Shelly – Right now we don’t have the capability to film our workshops, but hopefully one day we can create some videos on various topics. There will be more talks throughout the summer, so hopefully one will be near you. — Laura
I am so bummed to miss this! I had surgery on Wed and haven’t been given the clearance to drive. If you have any handouts you could send me electronically I would love them! My name is Meredith and my email is ilikelibraries@yahoo.com.
