Get creative with your family fun budget! If you’re feeling “crafty” over the weekend, head to Michaels for a fun Sunday afternoon with the family. The popular craft store’s Sunday MakeBreak events offer a creative outlet for kids of all ages at no cost. Best of all, all of the supplies necessary for each project are included in the weekly class — just bring your creativity!
Michaels’ Sunday MakeBreak takes place on the first and third Sunday of each month from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. at participating locations. However, dates may vary by month and/or location.
The classes are intended for participants 13 years and older.
The in-store event is FREE. However, the purchase of additional supplies may be required. Please review the details of each class.
Participants must register for the class. Use the links below for each class to register. You can book classes under your Michaels account or as a guest.
Here’s the current schedule:
July 7, 2024 – Sunday MakeBreak: Crystal Accessories

There are 19 locations in Colorado — Arvada, Aurora, Boulder, Colorado Springs (3), Denver, Englewood, Fort Collins, Grand Junction, Greeley, Highlands Ranch, Lakewood, Littleton, Longmont, Sheridan, Superior, Thornton and Westminster.
why are the Sunday Make breaks in the middle of the store at a card club table with no chairs? there is not enough room for everyone and no where to put coats or purses let alone where do the kids sit and create? no a good move. let’s go back to the craft room.
Note: i see where this class now requires you to purchase the eggs.
I have noticed this with other classes. That not all of the materials are provided for free.
