This deal deserves a 21-gun salute. Vail Resorts is offering a special new $99 Military Epic Pass for the 2018-19 ski season. The pass is for all U.S., Canadian and Australian active and retired military personnel and their dependents. The $99 price tag is almost 90% off the regular price of an Epic Pass and goes on sale Tuesday, March 6.
An Epic Pass allows unlimited and unrestricted access to 14 resorts — Vail, Beaver Creek, Breckenridge, Keystone, Whistler Blackcomb, Park City, Heavenly, Northstar, Kirkwood, Stowe, Wilmot, Afton Alps, and Mt. Brighton for the 2018-19 season, as well as Perisher in Australia for the 2019 ski season.
Military Epic Passes do not currently include partner resort access. Any changes to partner access will be announced later this spring.
A Military Epic Pass for U.S. veterans and their dependents will be priced at $499 for adults and $269 for children. That’s more than 40% off the regular price. The existing Liberty Pass (access to Keystone and Arapahoe Basin with no blackout dates) will now include all U.S. veterans and their dependents. It costs $269 for adults and $199 for children (ages 5 to 12).
You can read all the details about who qualifies as Active/Retired military (as opposed to a veteran) and find all your questions answered clearly here.
The $99 Military epic pass, is this for 20 year service veterans only? Its not real clear who is eligable for this pass.
