DC League of Super-Pets is a wildly funny and endearing animated tale that follows a group of shelter pets who become unlikely superheroes in a hilarious adventure as they struggle with their newfound powers to save the day. Led by Krypto the Super-Dog, and Ace the hound, the film combines the love of pets and superheroes in a universally relatable story with humor, heart and lovable characters that celebrates the hero within us all.
In the animal film, Krypto and Superman are inseparable best friends, sharing the same superpowers and fighting crime in Metropolis side by side.
When Superman and the rest of the Justice League are kidnapped, Krypto must convince a rag-tag shelter pack—Ace the hound, PB the potbellied pig, Merton the turtle and Chip the squirrel—to master their own newfound powers and help him rescue the superheroes.
MHOTC readers can attend a FREE sneak preview of the film on Saturday, July 23 at 10 a.m. at the Regal Continental.
The screening will be very festive with attendees invited to come in their pajamas. Doors will open at 9 a.m. so everyone can attendees to enjoy a photo op, face painting, giveaways and a balloon artist.
