Being a pet parent is priceless — so much love, joy and companionship. However, you can ease the cost of the adoption process this weekend. The Dumb Friends League is full of furry friends, so they’re hoping to make more love connections with its popular Adoptathon on Saturday, June 26 and Sunday, June 27.
Get ready to meet your new best pal at the organization’s Leslie A. Malone Center (2080 S. Quebec St.) in Denver and the Buddy Center (4556 Castleton Ct.) in Castle Rock. The event runs from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. each day.
To pair pets with people, the shelter will be offering a name-your-own-price adoption fee — with a goal of connecting 125 pets with their new families for the weekend. The pricing special applies to all pets at the animal shelter.
All cat and dog adoptions include spay or neuter surgery, vaccinations, microchip ID and a complimentary wellness visit with a participating veterinarian.
