The 22nd annual National Walk & Bike to School Day on Wednesday, October 10, is an effort to rekindle the healthy tradition of getting to school via kidpower that was once the norm. It brings a day of visibility to the importance of safer and improved streets, healthier habits and less traffic — one community at a time — in the hopes of increasing the number of families who leave their vehicles in favor of two feet or two wheels when going to neighborhood schools. Scores of Colorado schools have registered. Click here and enter “Colorado” for a list.
