Mark your calendars. The U.S. Park Service waives entrance fees to all of its 419 parks, monuments and other sites on Saturday, April 19, 2025, as part of National Park Week. It sounds like a good reason to plan a road trip, whether for a weekend in a nearby state (Utah’s five national parks are fabulous in spring before it gets too hot) or even just for an afternoon to explore the beauty that is Colorado.
If you’re not able to take advantage of this freebie, mark your calendar now for the remaining FREE days in 2025:
June 19 — Juneteenth National Independence Day
August 4 — Anniversary of the Great American Outdoors Act
September 27 — National Public Lands Day
