Organizations are getting creative for Halloween and folks up in Northern Colorado are no exception. NoCo’s Greatest Drive-Thru Trick-or-Treat Experience is set for Saturday, October 31 from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. at The Ranch Events Complex. Think of it as a parade in reverse, where the spectators move and the displays stay in place.
Families will slowly drive through a long series of Halloween scenes decorated by local businesses, schools and nonprofits. Kids will then safely trick-of-treat from their car window.
All candy, treats and gifts will be wrapped and all booth workers and candy handlers will wear gloves and masks.
This event is FREE to all guests who register. You’ll need to choose a 30-minute time slot.
Then, when you arrive at The Ranch, you’ll wait in a holding area until it is time to go through. The speed limit is a strict 5 miles per hour.
Restrooms (for kids who just “have to go”), hand-washing stations and sanitizing stations will be available.
You can sign up here starting Thursday, October 1. If you want to participate, sign up immediately so secure a spot. While there’s plenty of room, spots will likely fill.
We checked with organizers and they say, if spots are filled by the time you go to register, please check back as new time slots may become available or openings occur if someone cancels.
