The party is officially over! Party City is expected to officially close February 28, 2025. There was a time when Party City was a must-stop for decorations, balloons and accessories for any party or gathering, but especially for birthday parties. Unfortunately, as we all know, how customers shop and buy just about everything (including party supplies) has changed so much in the last several years. And Party City is yet another casualty of the changing marketplace.
As of now, everything is on sale at all locations — up to 50% off. Now’s the time, to stock up on all of your party supplies for 2025 — from baby showers to birthdays and graduations to retirement parties.
All stores are expected to close on or by February 28, 2025.
As seasoned bargain hunters know, the discount will increase periodically as the final day of business approaches. The longer you wait, the bigger the discount.
However, the selection gets smaller over time, so it’s all about shopping at the right time.
For many, the best time to start shopping is when the discount hits 50% off.
If you shop any of the closing stores, let us know what you find and we’ll update the post. Send updates to info@milehighonthecheap.com with the subject “Party City Closing Update”.
