You can now enjoy the tastes of Hawaii right here in Colorado without needing to pack your bags. Pokeworks is ready to serve up its fresh, healthy Hawaiian-inspired poke in Denver. What is poke? It’s pronounced “poh-keh” and, in Hawaiian, means “to cut into pieces”. A poke bowl is made with pieces of raw, marinated fish tossed over rice and topped with various vegetables and sauces.
Aloha! Pokeworks is opening its first-ever Colorado shop on January 18 in Greenwood Village at 8000 E. Belleview Ave. — inside the Belleview Promenade shopping center
To celebrate the grand opening, the first 100 people in line will receive a FREE regular-sized poke bowl on Wednesday, January 18.
Plus, on January 20, Pokeworks will host a ribbon cutting ceremony with special appearances from the Mayor and City Council.
Once open, the Greenwood Village Pokeworks will be serving its fresh fare every day from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. The debut in Denver is just the beginning for the popular fast-casual restaurant in Colorado, as four more locations are planned to open over the next two years.
