All aboard! N is for “new.” The Regional Transportation District’s long-awaited N Line is finally hitting the tracks on Monday, September 21. The new line adds even more commuter rail service to connect the metro Denver region. The first 13 miles of the proposed 18.5-mile line provides service from Union Station through Denver, Commerce City, Northglenn, Thornton and, eventually, North Adams County.
At Union Station, passengers can connect to the C, E and W light rail lines, the University of Colorado A Line to the airport, the B Line to Westminster, the G Line to Arvada/Wheat Ridge, Local and Regional buses, the Free MallRide and Free MetroRide.
The first week of the N Line will be FREE for riders — from September 21 to 27.
Plus, from September 28 to March 27, 2021, as part of a promotional fare pilot program, RTD will offer a $3 local fare for travel on the entire N Line.
If the trip includes transferring to additional zones on bus or rail, a higher fare may apply.
