The day following any regular season game in which the Colorado Rockies hit a double, fans score a FREE Double Cheeseburger with a minimum purchase of $1 at McDonald’s.
IMPORTANT CHANGE: As of May 18, 2024, McDonald’s has changed the “fine print” on the offer. The giveaway now requires an additional minimum purchase of $1. Fortunately, McDonald’s has reduced the price on all soft drinks and teas!
The offer is only available via the McDonald’s app — not in-restaurant. Limit one per person.
The deal is not available during breakfast hours, which end at 10:30 a.m.
A Double Cheeseburger regularly sells for $3.59, so the deal is definitely a homerun for hungry bargain hunters! Regular price may vary by location.
The offer is only valid at participating locations in Colorado. Be sure you have your “Location” enabled on the McDonald’s app.
For everyone in the family to take advantage of the giveaway, each person will need to have their own McDonald’s account via the app.
Plus, if the Rockies hit a double AND score 7 or more runs, you can also score cheap tacos at Taco Bell. (The Taco Bell offer is valid whether the Rockies win or lose. Just 7 or more runs triggers the deal.)

At my McDonald’s on Baseline in Boulder, my app now says that a $1 purchase is required for this offer. Oh well, the free ride was great while it lasted, and Bryan expected McDonald’s to start requiring an additional purchase.
