Denver is always a trendsetter. And, thanks to Mayor Michael Hancock’s proclamation, Saturday, October 12 is the city’s third Breakfast Burrito Day. (Okay, so he hasn’t made any proclamations this year, but we’re just going with it.) In honor of the popular to-go breakfast, Santiago’s is offering its breakfast burrito for $1.25 for the day. The burrito regularly sells for $2.50, so it’s 50% off.
If you’re wondering, the price is what a breakfast burrito cost, when the much-loved Mexican restaurant first opened back in 1990. There is a limit of five burritos per person, so pick up a few extras for friends, family or co-workers.
