For busy families, Walmart is making shopping easy and convenient as back-to-school supplies are available for pickup and delivery.
Sensory-Friendly Shopping Hours
Walmart has also introduced “Sensory-Friendly Shopping Hours” designed to create a quieter shopping environment for customers.
During these designated hours, bright lights and loud noises will be significantly reduced to create a quieter shopping trip. Walmart stores will be less visually and audibly stimulating with dimmed lights as well as restricted use of TVs and lighted displays, music, store machinery and non-emergency announcements.
“Sensory-Friendly Shopping Hours” are on Saturdays from 8 a.m. to 10 a.m., now through August 26, 2023.
