Here’s a new way to exercise both your mind and body. Sculpture Park Fitness Series is a collaborative effort between Denver Arts & Venues (who operate Sculpture Park among other city-owned venues) and local fitness studios and cultural arts organizations to stage a full schedule of workouts from meditation and dance-inspired classes to heart-pumping cardio and boot camps. Just so you know, all classes cost $17 each — not exactly low-cost by MHOTC standards, but if the price doesn’t deter you, read on.
The series runs every Tuesday and Thursday in August and September at Sculpture Park (the corner of Champa St. & Speer Blvd.). Classes each run 60-minutes at 8 a.m., 9:30 a.m. and 5:30 p.m. They require no “props” of special equipment and open to all levels.
Participants will gather in 10-foot circles, move in unison with help from expert instructors and feel inspired just being with each other again.
Everyone must wear a face covering. You’ll also need to bring a yoga may, water, sneakers, towel and hand sanitizer. There is almost no shade, so sunscreen and a hat are also strongly recommended.
In order to provide a touchless ticketing experience, tickets are available online only at AXS.com. Click here to buy tickets. There are no drop-in sales at the door.
