“Fishing Fun for Kids” is a FREE, wheelchair-accessible program on Thursday, August 31 (5 to 7 p.m.) that explores fishing techniques, equipment to use and places to go on Boulder Open Space lands to catch bass, sunfish, bluegill and carp. Limited equipment provided, but BYO is encouraged, because kids do have a better time if equipment is sized for them. Accompanying adults youngsters must have a valid Colorado fishing license. Click here to register — and be aware that this event is limited to 20 kinds. Meeting location is provided when you register. Rangers suggest bringing mosquito repellant just in case.
