Sonflower Ranch Wildlife Rehabilitation Center in Brighton holds its annual dinner and live and silent auctions on Saturday September 11. The live auction from 1 p.m. to 3:30 p.m. is FREE to attend (registration and check-in will begin at 12:30 p.m.), followed by refreshments, live music by local band Otero and an opportunity to visit the farm animals from 3:30 o.m. to 4:30 p.m. (it usually costs $5 to tour the ranch).
They ask that you preregister here, to assist in faster check-in the day off of the event. Auction items include grills, smokers, romance packages, a kayak, a generator, photography session, pop-up camper, and even African safaris!
If you’d like to stay for dinner (catered by David Bondarchuck of Scratch Catering) and the silent auction, which is 4:30 p.m. to 7 p.m., tickets are $50 and can be purchased here. You can also just purchase dinner tickets and arrive at 4:30 pm.
Since the 501c3 organization is entirely volunteer-run, all funds go toward supporting the orphaned and injured wildlife that are rehabilitated and released back into the wild. Enjoy a fun day at the ranch and help Colorado’s wildlife.
