This event is canceled for 2020. What happens when you mix a warm summer afternoon, ice-cold draft beer, and some fun, funky music? You get the South Pearl Street Blues & Brews Festival. Scheduled for Saturday, August 10, you won’t feel blue listening to tunes from this year’s lineup, including Otis Taylor, Albert Cummings, Chris Daniels & the Kings, Kerry Pastine and the Crime Scene, The Delta Sonics, and Nic Clard Band.
Gates open at 1 p.m., with the first band taking the stage at 2 p.m. Attendees get 8 hours of incredible music and pours from Colorado-based breweries including Alpine Dog, Bear Creek Distillery, Black Project Beer, Dead Hippie Brewing, Dos Luces Brewery, Fiction Beer, MANCAN Wine, Sanitas, Brewing Company, Stem Ciders, The Post and Tivoli Brewing Company and tasty eats.
Admission is $8 when purchased in advance here; $10 at the gate. To save parking hassles, take the light rail (Louisiana-Pearl Station). 1200 block of S. Pearl Street, Denver.
