Movies, mountains and a Colorado summer evening sky. It doesn’t get much better. This summer movie series may not be the most convenient for families in Denver or Boulder. However, if you’re planning a summer weekend road trip, you might make this unique experience a stop for some family fun and memories. (Steamboat Springs is about 150 miles from Denver or roughly three hours. Pack some snacks, blare your favorite tunes and you’re ready to go!)
Grab a seat under the stars and stretch out for a featured film on the mountain side, thanks to Steamboat Springs’ Movies On The Mountain series. (By the way, the series is sponsored by Coca-Cola.)
Movies are shown Saturday nights beginning at sunset on the Steamboat Stage in Gondola Square. Bring your own lawn chairs and blankets. Snacks and beverages are available for purchase. Please, leave pets at home.
