Swing on over to Aspen Grove for a Thursday night date night called Summer Swing. Each Thursday — August 11, 18 & 25 — from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. the retail center will host a live band for dancing in the street between Ted’s Montana Grill and Panera Bread. Don’t know how to swing? Instructors from Swingin’ Denver will offer free Lindy Hop dance lessons.
The BARBOX Garden will have food trucks and Breckenridge will be pouring some tasty beer, hard lemonade, and seltzer. There will also be non-alcohol beverage options.
Here’s the band lineup:
August 11 — SmokeTone Swing Band
August 18 — Odessa Rose
August 25 — Uptown Messaround
Attendees can support The Undies Project. Bring a new pair or pack of new underwear for women, children, or men and drop them off at the donation barrel next to the BARBOX by Breckenridge for a chance to win a $100 gift card to your favorite shop/restaurant at Aspen Grove. Underwear will be donated to The Action Center for distribution to people in need or facing homelessness throughout the Denver metro area.
