If you have a taste for something new and different, you may want to check out the Taste of Ethiopia. For nearly a decade, the Festival has brought thousands of people together to celebrate the rich culture and heritage of Ethiopians in Colorado. The family-friendly outdoor event is back after a three-year hiatus and set for Saturday, August 3, 2024, from 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. Admission is FREE.
The family-friendly fun takes place in Northeast Denver’s Parkfield Lake Park.
The day includes cultural performances, fashion shows, arts & crafts, vendors and, of course, lots of delicious food, including injera, the traditional sourdough flatbread, to flavorful stews and aromatic spices.
Don’t miss the chance to savor authentic Ethiopian coffee, known for its distinct flavor and traditional brewing ceremony.
Performers include Getish Mamo, Ethiopian Youth Dancers, Ashebir Belay and the Dankira Band and others.
