Denver is known for many great attractions, restaurants and businesses. However, Tattered Cover Book Store is at the top of the must-see list for many. The popular book store has reached iconic status among many book worms here and around the country. And, this year, the story continues as they celebrate their 50th anniversary.

Even though it’s no longer there, many can still recall the store’s first location in Cherry Creek with its multiple floors of books, cozy chairs and more books. (Anyone?) They now have five locations, a pop-up shop at Park Meadows and new store opening in Westminster soon.
On Wednesday, November 10, the book store is celebrating the major milestone at all locations with a special ceremony at 6 p.m., including complimentary desserts and drinks.
Plus, all day, customers who make any purchase will receive a FREE limited-edition 50th anniversary bookmark — with a special discount valid November 15 to December 31 on an entire order purchased in-store or online. (The special discount is being promoted as “5.0 % off.” And, yes, we clarified — the discount is for 5% off a future purchase.)
