All she wants to do is ditch the tail for a life on the mainland. That’s the charming premise of Disney’s The Little Mermaid to be performed by the thespians of ThunderRidge High School on April 18 to 20 and April 26 & 27. As Ariel sneaks off to dream of a new life, she stumbles upon a dreamy prince with two legs.
Yearning for a life she can’t have, she makes a deal with deadly Ursula which of course only adds to her problems. The Little Mermaid is appropriate for audiences of all ages.
All dates have an evening showing at 7 p.m. with two matinee performances at 1 p.m. on Saturday, April 20 & 27. Tickets to all shows are $12 for adults and $10 for students and seniors. There will be a mermaid tea party following both matinee showings for an extra $5. Tickets may be purchased in advance here.
