The city of Thornton’s All Star Summer Concert Series offers FREE family-friendly concerts on Thursdays from 7 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. Once again, the city is adding to the fun with two Arts in the Parks events scheduled to start at 5:30 p.m. before designated concerts. The series takes place from May 30 to July 25, 2024.
Four shows take place at the Harley Brown Amphitheater at Carpenter Park. The others are at Fallbrook Farms Park, Community Park, Woodglen-Brookshire Park and Riverdale Park.
Seating starts at 5 p.m. for Arts in the Park events, 6 p.m. for concerts. Bring your own blankets or chairs.
Food trucks will be on site for Arts in the Park or enjoy a bowl of free ice cream at one of the Ward sponsored Ice Cream Socials.

May 30: Thornton Community Band (Mayor’s Ice Cream Social) at Harley Brown Amphitheater
June 6: Triple Nickel at Harley Brown Amphitheater + Arts in the Park: Western Dance Roundup includes a foot-stoppin’ group dance lesson, plus a petting zoo.
June 13: Soul School (Juneteenth Celebration) at Harley Brown Amphitheater
June 20: The Long Run at Fallbrook Farms (Ward 4 Ice Cream Social)
June 27: Chris Daniels & The Kings with Freddie Gowdy at Community Park (Ward 1 Ice Cream Social)
July 11: 5280s Band at Woodglen-Brookshire Park (Ward 2 Ice Cream Social)
July 18: Hot Lunch at Riverdale Park (Ward 3 Ice Cream Social)
July 25: FACE at Harley Brown Amphitheater + Arts in the Park: Beach Party Celebration includes steel drums, Polynesian dancers, a limbo contest, prizes and giveaways.
