One dozen never-before-seen comedians will debut their “tight five” – five minutes of original material during “The Tight Five: Original Standup Comedy” on Thursday, April 21 at 7 p.m. at the Elaine Wolf Theatre inside JCC Denver. The performers developed their material over an eight-week comedy writing workshop at the JCC. The event is hosted by rising star comedian, writer and filmmaker, Sam Clark, a Denver native.
“We are excited to welcome Sam back to the Elaine Wolf Theatre to host the first of its kind comedy show where every day people with an interest in comedy will be showing off their comedic skills live on stage,” said Rich Cowden, general manager of the JCC Mizel Arts and Culture Center.
The 12 comics that will be performing their “tight five” include: Stephanie Bartfeld, Ryan Bocchino, Peter Burke, Stacy Feeney, Abbi Heller, Matt Heller, Andy Herm, David Miller, Elizabeth Moser, Mark Raphaely, William Weiner and Jacob Zall.
Tickets cost $10 for general admission. You can buy theme here.
All proceeds will go directly to the scholarship fund for Wolf Theatre Academy to provide equitable access to a professional theatre experience for young artists. The show is recommended for guests 16 years and older.
