A thrift store in Castle Rock is quietly helping many Douglas and Elbert County residents in need. Treasures Thriftque is the retail arm of the Help & Hope Center. It collects donated apparel, home goods, shoes, toys, jewelry, books and more — enough to fill its huge retail store. On Saturday, August 17, 2024, Treasures hosts its Fall Haul sale from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Everything in the store, which will be converted to fall merchandise, will be 40% off.
For holiday enthusiasts and back-to-school shoppers, the sale promises a treasure trove of Thanksgiving and Halloween décor and costumes, fall clothing (including sweaters and jackets), boots and other seasonal finds.
On this and every day, 85¢ of every dollar goes directly to support Help & Hope Center’s programs.
