It’s full steam ahead for tricks, treats and trains! Hop aboard the Harvest Haunt Express Train at the Colorado Railroad Museum on Saturday & Sunday, October 19 & 20, 2024. The event will feature Steam Train Rides behind the 1899-vintage Rio Grande Southern steam locomotive No. 20, a hay bale maze, music, trick-or-treating and more.
Enjoy the Olde Railroaders Silly Graveyard, “not-so-spooky” haunted railcars, a hay bale maze, and musical ensembles performing throughout the day. Bring your camera, and get a great picture of your group’s costumes in front of the Pumpkin Patch cart.
Enjoy live entertainment, visit with local vendors for a tasty snack, and get photos with the family in front of the Pumpkin Patch cart and Harvest-decorated historical locomotives and railcars.
Guests are encouraged to come in costume for Trick-or-Treating.
Grounds are open 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., with activities and entertainment from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Train rides depart every 30 minutes from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.
Museum admission with train ride is $14 adults, $7 ages 2 to 17, $12 seniors (60+).
Capacity is limited and the event has a history of selling out, especially on Saturday, so advance reservations are suggested. Click here for advance tickets.
