In this day and age, upcycling clothing is all the rage. Swap N’ Sip is a clothing swap and DIY upcycle station at Town Hall Collaborative. On Saturday, April 20, 2024, from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m., shop the swap, customize your new finds and make new friends. Cost of entry is 1 bag of clothing OR $15 (collected at the door), but c’mon who doesn’t have some clothing that you need to clear out?
Entry includes full access to shop the swap and to an “upcycle” station where you can bring your finds to bleach, tie dye, crop, block print or add a patch to personalize them.
Also on hand will be DJ CYN keeping the mood lively, permanent jewelry from Everbee, and artist George Bangs doing “flash style” live painting on clothing, too.
Clothing swaps are free of gender, but please no children or babies clothing. Basically, keep in mind they want adult-size clothing that is in “giftable” or “repairable” condition.
No excessive pilling, freshly washed, no pet hair, and from a smoke-free home.
All leftover items will be sorted and donated to the appropriate charity.
