Costumed volunteers demonstrate chores (including laundry, woodworking and farming) and children’s games of all sorts on a late 1800s mountain ranch during Walker Ranch Homestead’s ‘s Summer Heritage Evening on Saturday, July 21, 4 to 7 p.m. Kids will love the animals (petting encouraged), and all ages can learn about native plants and animals and enjoy toe-tapping music.
