Those of us who have visited Wings Over The Rockies already know that Denver has an extraordinary facility devoted to the heritage of aerospace and space travel. After all, it’s not every attraction that welcomes you with a B-52 bomber parked on the front lawn. Now Wings has a second facility, Exploration of Flight, located at Centennial Airport.
Phase one of the new Exploration of Flight campus is the Boeing Blue Sky Aviation Gallery, an awesome aerospace attraction. It provides a behind-the-scenes experience that is sure to have you looking to the heavens.
You can check it out this weekend during a Grand Opening, Saturday & Sunday, July 21 & 22 from noon to 5 p.m. at a fraction of the normal admission rate.
Here’s a great video showing you a sneak peek of the facility.
