You’ve heard of “Elf on The Shelf”! Well, World Market is taking the holiday tradition to the next level this year. Bargain hunters always enjoy searching high and low for amazing deals. And, in this case, their detective skills can really pay off (literally!) at World Market. The popular retailer is hosting a Golden Elf Scavenger Hunt for some added joy and merriment while you shop — from November 1 to 27, 2024. Now’s the time to start your holiday shopping early!
From November 1 to 27, 2024, World Market is hiding four (4) Golden Elves twice per day throughout the store at participating locations.
That means there are a total of eight (8) winners every day at every store.
The scavenger hunt runs twice daily:
Hours vary by location, so double-check first.
Scavenger Hunt #1: Store opening to 3 p.m.
Scavenger Hunt #2: 4 p.m. to store closing
Find a Golden Elf game piece somewhere in the store and exchange it for a reward coupon worth $20, $50 or $100.
The reward is only valid on the day it is awarded. The reward cannot be redeemed online — in-store only. You won’t know what your Golden Elf is worth until you turn it in with one of the employees.
IMPORTANT: Limit one (1) reward per person throughout the duration of the promotion, regardless of the location visited. No cheating! Once you’ve found a Golden Elf, you cannot win again at any location for the remainder of the promotion.
Plus, you must be 18 years or older to participate.
Need a clue? Each day, World Market will share a daily clue on the Golden Elf sign at the front of the store, as well as online here. Use the clue to help you find a Golden Elf game piece.
TIP: The giveaway is very popular, so all of the Golden Elves are often found very quickly — usually within the first 20 to 30 minutes.
Look for the display sign at the front of the store for updates on when each Golden Elf is found, so you’re not wasting your time wandering around looking for game pieces that have already been found.
Good luck snoopin’ (and shoppin’) around!
Is there any etiquette with this? Was standing in one location looking around and some young woman swooped in and grabbed one right out in front of me. Sort of like the people who reach over and grab a foul ball at a baseball game. Seems like she could have waited till I moved away from that spot.
